On August 7th, the annual Conference of Management Personnel for the Evaluation of skilled talents in the National Textile Industry was successfully held in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. The evaluation of professional ability levels (recognition) has always been one of the key tasks of the Shandong Textile and Garment Industry Association, and is specifically organized and carried out by the Talent Cultivation Department. Since 1998, with the approval of the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Provincial Textile Vocational Skills Appraisal Station was established and hung at the former Provincial Textile Industry Association. Since then, the association has initiated the vocational skills level (certification) evaluation work within the province. Later, due to the advancement of government function reform, in 2019, the association obtained the vocational skills Appraisal (Evaluation) license issued by the Textile Industry Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center under the China National Textile and Apparel Council (hereinafter referred to as the "Center"). In 2021, the association officially became a branch of the Textile Industry Vocational Appraisal Guidance Center. Up to now, it has been conducting evaluation work for 27 years. During the evaluation period, the association has always strictly followed the relevant regulations of the state and the industry. Under the overall guidance of the center, it has orderly carried out the evaluation (recognition) of the vocational ability levels of on-the-job employees of enterprises and students of colleges and universities based on its business scope.


After years of meticulous efforts, the association has achieved remarkable breakthroughs in the scope of occupational (trade) evaluation. The number of occupations (trades) that can be evaluated has steadily expanded from the initial 12 to 25. This achievement not only reflects the systematicness and foresight of the association in business expansion, but also demonstrates its precise matching of the evaluation demands for skilled talents in various fields of the textile industry. By providing standardized channels for professional ability certification, it has effectively promoted the unification and implementation of industry talent evaluation standards, and selected and cultivated a large number of skilled talents that meet the needs of the industry.
