On April 22nd, the 2026 China Garment Association Women's Clothing Industry Innovation Development Conference, organized by the China Garment Association and hosted by the Women's Clothing Professional Committee of the China Garment Association and the Industry Chain Professional Committee of the China Garment Association, was held at the Ludu FDC Fashion Complex. 

This conference, with the theme "Her Economy - Overcoming Obstacles", jointly explores the systematic leap of Chinese women's clothing from "manufacturing" to "creation", and from "production capacity" to "brand". 

Jiao Pei, the full-time vice president of the China Clothing Association, Liu Xiaocheng, Zhao Mingxia, the director of the Industry Department of the China Textile Industry Federation, Yi Hong, the deputy director of the Textile Industry Department of the Jiangxi Provincial Industry and Information Technology Department, Liu Yusheng, the fourth-level researcher of the Industrial and Information Technology Bureau of Ganzhou City, Liu Yu, the member of the Party Committee and deputy director of the Commerce Bureau of Ganzhou City, Lai Xiaqiang, the chairman of the CPPCC of Yudu County, Yang Haifeng, the vice chairman and deputy county head of Yudu County, and Song Chenglong, the deputy director of the Industrial Park Management Committee, all attended the meeting. 21 sharing guests, industry experts, women's clothing brands, supply chain enterprises and e-commerce channel representatives, along with over 300 people, gathered together to discuss the innovative development of the women's clothing industry and the upgrading path of the industrial cluster. 

The conference was chaired by Liu Xiaocheng, the full-time vice president of the China Garment Association. 

Lai Xiaqiang, the chairperson of the People's Congress of Yudu County, on behalf of the Yudu County Party Committee and County Government, warmly congratulated the successful convening of the conference and expressed sincere gratitude to all the leaders, experts and entrepreneurs who have long been concerned and supported the textile and garment industry in Yudu. Currently, there are over 3,850 textile and garment enterprises in the county, with 300 well-known brands manufacturing here. By 2025, the industry's total revenue will exceed 100 billion yuan, and it will receive 17 national honors. It has also been named as a "National Fashion Clothing Industry Characteristic Cluster Area" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Yudu has a complete industrial support system and advanced manufacturing level. The combination of human resources, transportation, policies and services has created a mature textile and garment manufacturing ecosystem. Jiao Pei, the full-time vice president of the China Clothing Association, stated in his speech that this year marks the beginning of the "15-16" period. The Chinese clothing industry is accelerating its transition to the upper-middle part of the value chain. Women's clothing, as the core sector of the industry, its innovative development is crucial for the overall quality and level of the industry. This conference, with the theme of "Her Economy - Crossing Mountains and Rivers", not only aligns with the opportunities of female consumption upgrading, but also demonstrates the determination of the women's clothing industry to break through development limitations and move towards high-quality development. Shandong is a fertile soil for the textile and clothing industry, with a hundred-billion-yuan cluster industry, numerous leading brands, and mature manufacturing capabilities, which is a vivid illustration of the transformation of the Chinese clothing industry.
