In the context of slowing global consumer demand growth, rising tariff levels, increasing trade frictions, and more diversified international supply chain layouts, how can China's textile industry's foreign trade effectively respond to challenges and accelerate the cultivation of new competitive advantages in the international market? In her presentation "The Current Situation of China's Textile Industry's Foreign Trade and Suggestions for Responses," Zhao Mingxia, the director of the Industry Department of the China Textile Industry Federation, discussed the characteristics of the international textile supply chain layout, the general situation of China's textile industry's international trade, the influencing factors and development trends of textile industry foreign trade, and proposed that the industry should establish a development mindset that adapts to the slow growth of the demand side, build an international supply chain system with efficient resource allocation, orderly promote overseas investment layout, and enhance the coordination of the industrial layout system. 

Li Yuhao, the chief engineer of the China Industrial Textile Association, summarized the achievements and breakthroughs in the industry's "14th Five-Year Plan" technological innovation work in the report "Research on Technological Development and Innovation in the Industrial Textile Industry"; he introduced the research situation of the industry's "15th Five-Year Plan" technological development from aspects such as background conditions and high-quality development, and focused on presenting the key technology research situations in fields such as medical and health textiles, aerospace textiles, defense and emergency industry textiles, marine engineering and fishery textiles, environmental protection textiles, geotechnical construction textiles, transportation textiles, energy and industrial textiles, as well as intelligent textiles; from aspects such as market space, equipment progress, green sustainability and standard support, he put forward some thoughts and suggestions for the development of needle-punching industry.
